A prop tripod is an easy and quick erection aid for post shores used in slab formwork. When using a formwork prop tripod, it can improve the stability of high, free-standing floor formwork tables during the erection process.
A prop tripod simplifies the setup of tubular shoring post jacks during erection. The acrow prop is simply placed into the open stand and secured with a clamping hook via a gentle hammer blow. Formwork prop tripods can be used with all types of steel props.
The flexibly mounted support legs of the formwork prop tripod allow for an optimal fit, even in the corners of a structure.
The prop tripod is used to hold the scaffolding props in the vertical position while bearers, joists, plywood and/or a modular slab system are fitted and braced above. It may be removed once the shoring posts are tied off and braced.
